Golden Section Festival took place in Moscow on April 15 – 22, 2021

Golden Section Festival, the traditional and highly anticipated event for the Moscow architectural community took place in Moscow from April 15 – 22, 2021.

 

 

The week-long events full of business programs and round tables brought together representatives of the architectural community of the Russian capital, officials of state bodies responsible for policy in the field of architecture and urban planning, alongside with the numerous visitors from Moscow and its region. The festival’s major topic: Architecture as a driver in the development of creative industries.

Traditionally, the main event of the festival is the eponymous competition among Moscow architects for the Golden Section Award. The competition showcased projects realized by Moscow architects at any geographical location. The highest award of the festival is a bronze bas-relief with a stylized image of the prize symbol. It is awarded in two categories: Best Project and Best Implementation.

This year’s competition counted 125 projects by leading Architectural firms participating.

As the developer of the most complex engineering structures for designer’s facades Alternativa is proud to announce that there were many projects nominated as Best Implementation’2021 where the great work of our team is recognized.

Among these projects in the category of Urban Development was Svoboda Districkt in the Simvol Residential Complex, Moscow, Zolotorozhskiy Val st. Designer is the Atrium architectural studio. The authors of the project are Anton Nadtochiy, Vera Butko and their team of professionals.

 For the implementation of this project, the team of Alternativa developed a technical project with the help of our separate subdivision Ecosystems LLC, which successfully applies innovative BIM technologies in building design. Our team prepared the complete technical documentation for the flawless installation of aluminum composite panels and small-sized decorative concrete elements.  We also held a series of environmental tests. There were manufactured and delivered over 30,000 m2 of frames and metal structures for the suspended facade to the facility at our production facilities in Trekhgorny, Chelyabinsk region. We carried out a set of measures for technical support at the facility.
